Operations for a Software Development Startup

  • Challenge: Our client is a software development startup that is developing a modeling and simulation tool for the oil and gas industry.  The client is growing rapidly and requires a myriad of operations support from onboarding/hiring to quality controls through the development process of a minimum viable product.
  • Analysis: Our team worked alongside the client’s leadership and subject matter experts to create a system for sourcing and hiring candidates capable of performing highly technical work.  Our Consultants also created an “agile” infrastructure to incorporate customer feedback into the software development process, measure response time, and prioritize effort based on urgency and resource requirements.
  • Recommendation/Results: After two years, the client was acquired by a strategic buyer and our Consultants stayed on with the Buyer to transition the systems that had been developed throughout our time of engagement.
